Quite opposite to what the name of our group may suggest,
(it is an imaginary name by E. Satie) we don't try to be,
or appear, esoteric. Rather we search for a way to com-
municate which is pure and simple for everybody to under-
stand. Thus, our selection of repertoire is primarily
drawn from compositions inspired by French folk songs of
the middle ages and from children's songs. Both forms
seem to fulfill our desire for musical purity.
