Prepare to Meet Him — Directed by Lisa Harrigan. Reverence Gos- pel Ensemble is a group of 40 persons who perform contemporary Gospel music in various styles which include latin, funk and jazz. Also directed by faculty advisor Orville Wright. From Within — Directed by Walter Beasley II. A musical blend of original compositions and arrangements from various idioms to pro- vide an evening of music for your listening pleasure. The Concert Jazz Orchestra — Berklee’'s oldest and most presti- gious continuing ensemble presents their annual spring concert of large ensemble jazz. This program is a happy blend of the best stu- dent writers with the best student musicians under the direction of the very able Mr. Pomeroy. Guitar Nite VI — Directed by Bill Leavitt. The Annual Spring Concert of the Guitar Department showcases an array of guitar talents in a variety of group settings. From ragtime to rock, everything you always wanted to hear played on a guitar. § 'h—Thought Provoking Il — Will be an evening of contemporary Jjazz that features compositions by Hubbard, Davis and Shorter, plus some original compositions by Michael Lewis. A Love Supreme — Nasyr Abour Al Khabyyr directs a jazz concert that mixes many styles including ballads, jazz-rock, funk and straight ahead jazz featuring both originals and jazz standards. Berklee Jazz Ensemble — TAKIN CARE OF BUSINESS — The SPRING X-MAS CONCERT. The usual mad cap effort by Rose and Company. This group never fails to produce one of the semester’s outstanding programs. Mixing jazz, rock and whatever, it presents some of the outstanding student talent extant. : Annual Spring Concert — The Berklee Concert Band Conducted By Peter Hazzard. The usual assortment of contemporary works for con- cert band and as a special treat a new arrangement of eight Duke Ellington tunes. Godspell — THOMAS R. MARTIN—BERKLEE MUSICAL THEATRE WORKSHOP — production of Godspell by Stephen Schwartz. Follow- ing last year’s success with “A Funny Thing . . . Forum,” Tom Martin and an all student cast strike back. Voice Department Spring Concert — Directed by Brian O’Connell and Thomas R. Martin. Annual Spring Concert featuring the Berklee Concert and Contemporary Choirs. Studio Orchestra Concert — Donny Nolan presents a large studio orchestra performing a selection of original jazz and pop composi- tions along with some arrangements for singers.
