This concert will include student-generated arrangements and improvisations on several of Mr. Brown's most influential compositions. April 27 - 1:00 pm — Advanced Small Band Ensemble - Post Bop and contemporary jazz compositions by John Coltrane, Dave Liebman Mike Brecker and Freddie Hubbard will be performed by this six piece ensemble directed by Ed Tomassi. April 27 - 2:30 pm - Brazilian Jazz - Faculty member Fernando Brandao leads this student ensemble performing jazz from Brazil includ- ing compositions by Caetano Veloso, Milton Nascimento and Brandao.
