There	
  is	
  an	
  evil	
  demon	
  –	
  a	
  nine	
  tailed	
  fox	
  –	
  that	
  uses	
  it’s	
  powers	
  to	
  disguise	
  itself	
  as	
  
human.	
  	
  It	
  gains	
  counsel	
  with	
  the	
  King	
  and	
  through	
  trickery	
  and	
  magic,	
  the	
  fox	
  
persuades	
  the	
  King	
  to	
  wage	
  war	
  on	
  other	
  kingdoms.	
  	
  This	
  throws	
  the	
  kingdom	
  into	
  a	
  
state	
  of	
  turmoil	
  and	
  famine.	
  
	
  
	
  
The	
  fox	
  is	
  eventually	
  found	
  out.	
  	
  The	
  King	
  and	
  his	
  men	
  take	
  action.	
  	
  The	
  demon	
  takes	
  
it’s	
  true	
  form	
  –	
  a	
  giant	
  nine	
  tailed	
  fox	
  –	
  and	
  a	
  battle	
  ensues.	
  	
  Many	
  people,	
  both	
  
citizens	
  and	
  soldiers	
  alike,	
  are	
  killed	
  during	
  the	
  battle.	
  	
  The	
  demon	
  fox	
  is	
  proving	
  to	
  
be	
  immortal,	
  healing	
  its	
  wounds	
  as	
  fast	
  as	
  they	
  are	
  dealt.	
  
	
  
While	
  the	
  fox	
  is	
  distracted	
  with	
  the	
  infantry	
  soldiers,	
  the	
  Royal	
  Mages	
  combine	
  their	
  
magic	
  to	
  separate	
  the	
  fox	
  from	
  it’s	
  powers	
  –	
  it’s	
  nine	
  tails	
  are	
  individually	
  
imprisoned	
  into	
  items	
  representing	
  the	
  sins	
  associated	
  with	
  this	
  evil	
  creature.

As	
  a	
  final	
  desperate	
  act,	
  before	
  the	
  Mages	
  can	
  seal	
  the	
  last	
  of	
  the	
  demon	
  away,	
  the	
  
fox	
  uses	
  one	
  last	
  trick.	
  	
  It	
  imprisons	
  itself	
  onto	
  the	
  King’s	
  baby	
  son	
  –	
  the	
  heir	
  to	
  the	
  
throne.	
  
	
  
The	
  battle	
  is	
  ended.	
  The	
  triumph	
  is	
  bitter	
  sweet.	
  The	
  damage	
  to	
  the	
  kingdom	
  is	
  
extensive.	
  The	
  King	
  orders	
  his	
  men	
  to	
  scatter	
  the	
  8	
  pieces	
  far	
  away	
  where	
  nobody	
  
will	
  find	
  them.	
  	
  
	
  
The	
  victory,	
  however,	
  is	
  uncertain,	
  as	
  nobody	
  knows	
  the	
  effect	
  the	
  fox	
  will	
  have	
  on	
  
the	
  child.	
  Especially	
  considering	
  the	
  final	
  power	
  sealed	
  within	
  the	
  child…	
  is	
  the	
  sin	
  
of	
  Treachery.
