David Lo Cascio Biography Drummer and composer David Lo Cascio has toured and performed all over Europe, United States and Asia. A native of the island of Sicily, Italy, David has shared stages with Jazz icons and artists such as Lee Konitz, Charlie Mariano, Sheila Jordan, Joe Lovano, and Terence Blanchard, performing in iconic venues such as Lincoln Center in New York, Umbria Jazz Festival, Rheine Jazz Festival, Town Hall of Boston, and London’s Ronnie Scott’s. David currently keeps a flourishing activity as a performer in the in New York City area, not only as an active performer, but also as a member of the faculty at the Brooklyn School of Rock Music. He is an active performer in Valencia, Spain where he has played over 100 concerts during his Master’s Degree year at Berklee College Valencia campus; and for the past 13 years he has worked as assistant professor in the Berklee College at Umbria Jazz clinics in Umbria, Italy. David holds a degree in Literature and Languages from the University of Rome La Sapienza and a Bachelor’s degree in Performance, Music Engineering and Music Education from Berklee College of Music, Boston; and currently finishing his Master’s Degree from Berklee College of Music, Valencia Campus, Spain.
