singer/songwriter born and raised in the culturally rich and bustling city of Johannesburg, South Africa.
His music pays tribute to the tasty harmonies of folk-rock and groovy rhythms of Africa. The perfect
balance between sing-along melodies and dance-inducing grooves. His live show is as zestful as his
personality that will have you dancing relentlessly and singing your lungs out in a matter of seconds.

Contributing to his deep rooted love for rhythm, Steve has spent most of his music career creating sexy
grooves behind the drum kit. In 2016, Steve leapt from behind the drum kit and took to the front of the
stage, starting his singer/songwriter career with his cheerful and upbeat single “Answer”. Shortly after
Steve decided the fast-paced frontman lifestyle was his first love, he moved to Valencia, Spain, to study a
music masters in contemporary performance at Berklee College of Music. Opportunity soared when he
landed on Spanish shores. He fast started gaining local attention and appraisal for his live acoustic and
5-piece band sets played at popular venues around the city. In June 2017, the Umculo bulldozer smashed
his way onto Radio 3’s breakfast morning show Hoy Empieza Todo where he played “Answer” live for
200,000 adoring listeners. His musical escapades don’t stop just yet. His prime time slots at Plan B Falles
Festival 2017 and on the Negrita stage at Festival De Les Arts 2017 (Berklee’s Discover: Ahora) only
further tell of his successes in Valencia.
