Diego Urcola

Trumpeter Diego Urcola presents a clinic covering jazz trumpet improvisational ideas and more specific
Latin and Latin jazz stylistic concepts.

Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, the three-time Grammy nominee has been a member of the Paquito
D'Rivera Quintet since 1991 and has worked regularly with the Caribbean Jazz Project since 2004.
Additionally, the oft-in-demand trumpeter performs regularly with legendary saxophonist Jimmy Heath
and the Dizzy Gillespie Alumni All-Star Big Band.
