. When writing for ensemble of small orchestra, con-~
sistin - of three brass and three saxes; the following

voicing of chords is to be used.

It is well to notethat in the faX voicing of the seventh
chord with the seventh as the melody note, the ninth is

used.

The above volcings are recommended for the beginner in
