BERKLEE PERFORMANCE CENTER CONCERTS February February February February February February February Spring '84 CROSSBREEZE - Faculty guitarist Ken Taft leads his group through a program of fusion music that features synthesized guitar and lyricon. SCREAMUS FUNKUS — The Berklee "Tower Of Power” ensemble UPLANDS strikes again with another high energy performance of progressive pop/rock. JAN JARCZYK SOLO, QUARTET AND 12 PIECE ORCHESTRA - Jan Jarczyk returns to the Berklee Performance Center stage to present an evening of original compositions written for a variety of settings. UN POCO LOCO - Original latin music, featuring the talents of saxophonist Allan Chase, drummer/vibrophonist Ed Uribe and vocalist Mili Bermejo is presented by Berklee faculty member Victor Mendoza. BOYLSTON WOODWIND TRIO - This trio, comprised of flutist Matt Marvuglio, clarinetist Andre Lizotte and Steve Young on bassoon, will present a program of works ranging from classical to contemporary. § 1 DON'T WASTE TIME - Straight ahead jazz will be presented by student saxophonist James Gates. Special guests will include pianist James Williams and tenor saxophonist Bill Pierce. Double Concert — LIFE/MAGIC BREW AT THE BPC - Classical jazz and contemporary jazz will be presented by Saldi Ali and his seventeen piece band. The second half of the program will consist of instrumental contemporary fusion originals by Christer Brenne.
